Support the mission and values of the ministry through a servant-hearted approach to facilities care.
Adhere to MPD requirements as outlined in the MPD Guidelines and Policy documents.
Address daily maintenance and repair needs in a timely and efficient manner to minimize disruption to ministry activities.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and urgent facility-related issues as they arise.
Ensure facilities are prepared and ready for use, including building and room setup as directed by the Facilities Manager.
Complete assigned work to a satisfactory standard and follow up on any deficiencies.
Document maintenance activities, repairs, and preventative maintenance through the work order system.
Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work and storage areas.
Perform all duties in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
Assist with special projects and carry out additional duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.

Basic knowledge and experience in general maintenance, repairs, and use of hand and power tools.
Ability to identify maintenance needs and take appropriate corrective action.
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks with limited supervision.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.
Ability to communicate clearly and work cooperatively with staff, volunteers, and guests.
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate ministry vehicles as needed.
Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours and be on call as ministry needs require.
Ability to initiate tasks and follow projects through to completion.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power equipment, and operating vehicles such as cars and trucks.
Physical demands include frequent walking, lifting, bending, climbing, and other physical activities associated with maintenance work.
Compensation: Compensation for this position is funded through Ministry Partner Development (MPD). A salary goal will be established, and Life Action Ministries will provide the training, coaching, and resources needed to help you build a team of ministry partners to reach that goal.
All approved ministry-related business expenses are covered by Life Action Ministries.
