How you’ll contribute
The Therapy Manager leads rehabilitation services by overseeing patient assessment, treatment planning, scheduling, and productivity standards. Ensures high-quality, evidence-based therapy delivery; collaborates with physicians and families; and maintains departmental compliance with applicable inspections and policies.
A Therapy Manager who excels in this role:
Performs appropriate assessments on residents referred for therapy; observes/evaluates treatments and recommends changes to the physician as needed.
Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation modalities and develops teaching plans based on resident learning needs; involves families as appropriate and evaluates learning effectiveness.
Assesses pain that interferes with participation in rehabilitation and contacts the physician for appropriate intervention.
Oversees scheduling of treatments and maintains departmental productivity standards.
Ensures compliance with departmental inspections and documentation requirements.

What we’re looking for
Education/Licensure: Current state licensure/certification as RPT and/or Speech Pathologist, or OTR certified by NBCOT; current BCLS certification.
Experience: At least one (1) year of management experience in rehabilitative medicine.
Skills: Proficient clinical assessment and treatment planning; knowledge of rehab modalities; pain assessment/management coordination; effective teaching and family engagement; scheduling and productivity management; strong communication, teamwork, and documentation accuracy.
