    Responsibilities

    • Analyze current administrative and force management workflows to identify data gaps, manual handoffs, duplicate effort, and opportunities for automation.
    • Design, build, test, and maintain approved data management and workflow automation solutions using Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SharePoint, Excel, and other customer-authorized tools.
    • Develop dashboards, trackers, automated notifications, approval workflows, forms, and reports that improve visibility and reduce administrative cycle time.
    • Integrate data from multiple headquarters sources while preserving data lineage, access controls, classification markings, and authoritative-source relationships.
    • Establish and execute data quality controls, including validation rules, reconciliation processes, duplicate detection, issue tracking, and routine accuracy reviews.
    • Gather requirements from administrative, force management, security, facilities, supply, and executive support stakeholders and translate them into practical technical solutions.
    • Document data definitions, solution architecture, business rules, standard operating procedures, user guides, and sustainment requirements.
    • Provide user training, troubleshooting, and adoption support for developed solutions.
    • Monitor solution performance, resolve defects, manage configuration changes, and coordinate updates with customer information technology and cybersecurity personnel.
    • Prepare recurring and ad hoc analysis that supports manpower, workload, tasking, travel, facilities, supply, and headquarters decision-making.
    • Support governance of shared data repositories, permissions, retention practices, and version control.
    • Continuously improve solutions based on user feedback, changing mission requirements, and lessons learned.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in data analytics, information systems, computer science, business analytics, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
    • Four or more years of experience in data management, business intelligence, workflow automation, application development, analytics, or a related discipline.
    • Active TS/SCI clearance.
    • Hands-on experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Excel, or comparable enterprise tools.
    • Experience collecting and translating business requirements into data models, dashboards, automated workflows, and user-facing solutions.
    • Working knowledge of data quality, data governance, access control, records management, and configuration management principles.
    • Ability to troubleshoot data and workflow issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
    • Strong written communication, documentation, customer engagement, and user training skills.
    • Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with administrative users, technical teams, and senior stakeholders.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 collaboration and productivity applications.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience supporting the Joint Staff, a combatant command, a Service headquarters, or another Department of Defense organization.
    • Experience with Dataverse, SQL, Python, application programming interfaces, or cloud-hosted data services.
    • Experience developing solutions in classified or tightly controlled government environments.
