    JOB DESCRIPTION

    JOB TITLE:              Training Administrator                                      DATE:  8/2026

     REPORTS TO:        Director of Training and Development              STATUS:  Exempt

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Responsible for the coordination, administration, documentation and continuous support of our complex-wide training programs. Serves as the primary Learning Management System (LMS) administrator responsible for tracking certifications, coordinating training, assigning training, generating reports and supporting companywide employee development initiatives. Collaborates closely with all departments across the complex and external vendors to ensure training programs are delivered effectively and in compliance with regulatory, legal, and organizational requirements.

    DAILY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

      1. Administers and maintain the company’s LMS including employee records, course assignments, learning paths, certifications, reporting, user access troubleshooting and ongoing system support.
      2. Coordinate and maintain complex-wide training programs by developing training schedules, coordinating instructors, and ensuring programs are executed efficiently.
      3. Monitors training compliance by tracking training, certifications, recertifications and communicating completion status and risks.
      4. Develop and maintain training documentation including reports, records, standard operating procedures, training materials, and audit records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
      5. Supports department projects and strategic initiatives through project coordination, implementation support, and continuous enhancement of training programs.
      6. Serves as the primary liaison between Training and Development, Human Resources, Operations, Safety, Departmental leaders and external vendors regarding training programs and learning initiatives.
      7. In coordination with the Training Supervisor, develops and provides leadership with reports, dashboards and insights that support workforce planning and compliance.
      8.  Performs other duties and projects assigned

    REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:

    1. 1. Must possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in training administration, learning and development, Human Resources or a related field.
    2. 2. Must possess skills in communicating in a courteous and professional manner, both verbally and in writing to all team members, external entities, vendors, partners, and executives.
    3. 3. Must demonstrate exceptional time management, attention to detail and prioritization skills.
    4. 4. Must know how to effectively utilize a personal computer and a variety of software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    5. 5. Must be able to communicate effectively in English and Spanish both verbally and written.
    6. 6. Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
    7. 7. Must be able to be the public face of the company and represent LPP in a manner consistent with our company values.

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    1. 1. Bachelor’s degree in business Administration, HR, or related degree is preferred.
    2. 2. Professional knowledge and experience with manufacturing and production facilities, preferably with an emphasis in food production.
    3. 3. Knowledge of USDA, FDA, OSHA, food safety, or other regulatory requirements applicable to a manufacturing environment.
    4. 4. Experience supporting projects or implementing new training programs, systems, processes, or technology
    5. 5. Experience working cross-functionally with Human Resources, Operations, Safety, Quality/FSQA, leadership, external vendors, or other organizational partners.
    6. 6. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred.
    7. 7. Experience with process improvement, data analysis, training documentation, audit preparation, or compliance recordkeeping preferred.
