The appointee will join a joint research team bringing together the Freshwater Biodiversity & Ecosystem Functioning Lab (led by Dr. Alphonse Tsang) and Applied Ecology and Conservation Laboratory (led by Dr. Roger Lee). The candidate will play a key role in managing an aquatic insect conservation project in South Lantau’s freshwater marshes.

Applicants with prior experience in bioinformatics and ecological surveys are highly encouraged to apply for this position.
Salary and Benefits
Commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, and mandatory provident fund.
Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract for 12 months with the possibility of a further extension on related research projects.
