We’re seeking a Warehouse Associate – Pack & Ship to support our distribution center. This role is responsible for packing and/or shipping completed orders using appropriate materials and methods, verifying order accuracy, and ensuring all packages meet quality, presentation, and shipment standards. The position may operate in a combined Pack & Ship function or as separate Pack or Ship assignments based on operational needs. This position requires attention to detail, organized work habits, good attendance, and a service attitude toward customers. Role Summary

Responsible for packing and/or shipping orders to ensure accurate, timely fulfillment while supporting steady workflow through outbound operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Set up pack station (boxes, dunnage, tape, system login)
• Receive orders from staging in defined sequence (FIFO where applicable)
• Pack orders accurately (item count, packaging standards, customer requirements)
• Scan items and confirm order contents in system
• Print and apply shipping labels
• Verify shipments (correct label, carrier, and destination)
• Scan and manifest shipments in system
• Sort shipments by carrier, route, and service level
• Move shipments to correct dock or outbound staging area
• Perform packing and shipping tasks either:
• • as a combined end-to-end process (Pack ? Ship)
  • OR as separate assigned functions (Pack or Ship) based on direction from supervisor

• Maintain continuous flow through packing and shipping (avoid stop/start patterns)
• Monitor staging and outbound areas to prevent buildup of work
• Escalate immediately if orders, carts, or shipments begin to pile up
• Assist in clearing backlog and maintaining steady throughput
• Coordinate with picking and other team members to ensure smooth handoff

Performance Expectations

· Maintain packing and shipping productivity standards

· Minimize errors and mis-ships

· Support steady flow to shipping or load

· Meet hourly performance standards

Primary Function & Team-Based Flexibility

This position is assigned a primary function within warehouse operations (Pick, Pack, or Ship). To support overall operational flow and customer commitments, team members may be cross-trained and required to work in other functional areas as needed. The ability to adapt to changing priorities and support team-based execution is essential to success in this role.

Required Skills:

· Forklift experience a plus but not required

Education and Experience:

· 1-3 years warehouse experience

· Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required
