About the role:

Liquid I.V. is seeking an exceptional Marketing Project Manager who already knows how to do this job. We’re not looking for someone to develop - we’re looking for someone to trust. This is a cornerstone role for a PM who has mastered the craft, commands a room, and operates with the kind of ownership that makes a cross-functional team’s job easier, not more challenging.

You don’t need to be taught how to PM - you’ve been doing it at a high level long enough that your instincts are already calibrated. What you will need to navigate is a fluid, fast-moving environment with competing priorities, strong department leads, and a campaign calendar that doesn’t slow down for anyone. The learning curve here isn’t the craft - it’s the terrain which you’ll need to figure out fast.

Beyond execution, this role carries a meaningful leadership mandate. You will be a steadied PM who strategizes when things get complicated. You’ll be joining a PM team that is rooted in everything the Brand Marketing initiates and executes.

The ideal candidate is deeply fluent in the brand marketing and creative landscape - comfortable navigating packaging timelines, AOR partnerships, LTO’s, product innovation partnerships and progess, digital marketing collaboration, global asset governance, and cross-functional 360 campaign orchestration with equal confidence. You know what good looks like, you hold the team to it, and you make the work better by being in the room.

Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:

Campaign Leadership - Growth Driving & Big Bet

• Own end-to-end project management for Tier 1 and high-priority campaign workstreams - including 360 brand campaigns, seasonal launches, and growth-driving initiatives - from brief intake through post-launch evaluation.
• Lead cross-functional project teams across Brand, Creative, Media, Retail, Production, and agency partners, driving clarity on scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Manage and maintain project timelines in Wrike, ensuring all workstreams are visible, up-to-date, and escalated when at risk.
• Partner with the AOR (Agency of Record) as the primary Marketing Ops point of contact on campaign development and production workstreams.
• Facilitate campaign stage gate reviews, briefing sessions, and alignment meetings - ensuring the right stakeholders are in the room and decisions are captured and actioned.
• Proactively identify, document, and escalate risks, blockers, and scope changes before they impact delivery timelines.

Brand Marketing & Creative Fluency

• Navigate PMO packaging artwork timelines with a working understanding of dielines, print production stages, approvals, and vendor handoffs.
• Manage PDP (Product Detail Page) asset deliverables across retailer and DTC channels, ensuring assets meet spec requirements and are delivered on time.
• Understand and govern asset output requirements across a 360 campaign: video, photography, digital, social, retail, and print - including full funnel development and placement.
• Apply working knowledge of global asset sharing practices to ensure creative output is properly formatted, named, and accessible to domestic and international stakeholders.
• Partner with Creative and Production leads to maintain a clear picture of asset status, version control, and delivery across all active campaigns.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Serve as a project coach for PM team peers - modeling best-in-class project management practices and providing day-to-day guidance on execution challenges.
• Act as the PM team’s internal standard-bearer: the person others look to for how to support a brief, manage a timeline, or navigate a cross-functional conflict.
• Support the Director of Marketing Operations in identifying and closing skill gaps across the PM team through feedback, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
• Step in as the PM lead across the PM team in the Director’s absence, ensuring continuity across all active workstreams.
• Contribute to onboarding new PM team members, sharing institutional knowledge and orienting them to tools, processes, and ways of working.

Systems, Process & Operational Excellence

• Champion Wrike alongside the Marketing Ops Manager, as the team’s project management system of record - maintaining clean, accurate project data and contributing to platform best practices.
• Contribute to ongoing process design across the Marketing Ops function - identifying gaps, proposing improvements, and helping to build and document the team’s ways of working.
• Maintain a campaign-level status view across all owned workstreams and provide regular reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations.
• Lead or contribute to post-mortem reviews at the close of key campaigns, capturing learnings and translating them into process improvements.
• Partner with the Marketing Operations Manager on cross-functional systems initiatives, contributing expertise on how campaign execution intersects with asset, brief, and workflow governance.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of project management experience within a brand marketing, in-house creative, or agency environment - consumer goods or CPG brand experience strongly preferred.
• Deep fluency in the brand marketing and creative production landscape: you understand how a 360 campaign is built, what packaging artwork requires, how PDP assets are governed, and what it takes to bring a big-bet initiative to market.
• Expert-level proficiency in Wrike or a comparable enterprise PM platform; experience building and maintaining complex multi-workstream project plans.
• Working knowledge of global asset sharing practices, including asset naming conventions, file structure standards, version control, and cross-market distribution.
• Experience managing AOR and agency partner relationships as a client-side PM; comfortable holding agencies accountable to timelines and deliverable quality.
• Proven leadership instincts - you’ve mentored junior PMs, set team standards, or served as the operational anchor others rely on.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams simultaneously without losing sight of the details that matter.
• Strong cross-functional communicator - equally comfortable in a creative review, a packaging milestone meeting, or a senior leadership status update.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and pace: you don’t wait to be told what to do, you figure out what’s needed and drive toward it.
• A natural collaborator who builds trust quickly and holds relationships without sacrificing accountability.

Work Environment:

• This role is HYBRID (El Segundo, CA) 1-2 days onsite a week with flexibility for industry events. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

The compensation band for this position is $116,100 - $174,100 annually. The exact salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget. The listed range is applicable only to the annual base salary and does not include additional perks, benefits, or applicable bonus eligibility comprising the total compensation package.
