Permanent Full-Time          35hours, 5 days per week           Salary: $106,968.14 - $117,209.74 + 12% Super         Location: Liverpool
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for Parks Coordinator to join our Parks teams, in this role you will manage the Team Leaders to achieve planned maintenance programs and to ensure customer requests are responded to in a timely manner.

This role oversees the efficient, safe and budget‑aligned delivery of all maintenance activities across parks, sports and open space operations. It includes supervising teams, monitoring work practices, coordinating customer requests within required timeframes, and meeting KPI and reporting obligations.

It contributes to annual budgeting and quarterly reviews, implements sound risk management practices, and ensures staff adhere to enterprise risk frameworks. The role also assists in identifying and supporting new revenue or operational improvement opportunities and undertakes additional duties as directed by the Manager City Works Parks Sport and Open Spaces.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Certificate in Horticulture or equivalent and relevant experience
• Current Class C Drivers Licence
• Relevant experience in parks, and open space project management
• Experience in preparing and allocating budgets
• Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team
• Demonstrated experience in preparing performance reporting and record keeping
• Relevant experience in horticultural works
• Demonstrated experience in the supervision of staff or works teams

The salary (within the above-mentioned range) will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience, and competencies of the successful applicant.

All successful candidates will be required to obtain a National Police Check as part of the recruitment process and may be required to undergo a pre-employment medical check.
