JOB TITLE: Marketing Communications Manager

SALARY: £61,344 - £68,160

LOCATION: Bristol, Edinburgh & Halifax

HOURS: 35 hours, full time

WORKING PATTERN: : Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. Colleagues with disabilities can be supported with workplace adjustments including hybrid working expectations in line with our Flexibility Works policy.

What will I be doing?

• Media & Creative Campaign Delivery: Lead the end-to-end delivery of integrated media and creative communications campaigns, with a particular focus on large-scale AV-led marketing. Develop and deliver compelling campaigns across TV, BVOD, online video, social, influencer, OOH, digital and owned channels to drive brand growth, customer engagement and commercial performance.
• Matrix Collaboration: Partner across Full Funnels and Accelerator teams to unlock growth and deliver integrated campaigns.
• Creative Excellence: Develop bold, insight-led creative with world-class agencies, delivering distinctive and culturally relevant work that earns attention, wins awards, drives effectiveness and raises the bar for creative excellence.
• Innovation & Transformation: Champion progressive marketing approaches by identifying emerging consumer trends, media opportunities and technologies. Test, learn and scale innovative ideas that improve effectiveness, accelerate growth and help shape the future of marketing within Lloyds Banking Group.
• Line Management: Inspire and guide a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Budget Management: Manage budgets with rigor, ensuring accurate planning, PO control, and reporting.
• Governance: Maintain compliance and risk standards, ensuring all activity meets FCA and Group requirements

What you’ll need

• Campaign Leadership: A minimum of 5+ years' experience developing and delivering high-profile integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, with experience operating in progressive marketing environments focused on driving innovation, transformation and continuous improvement.
• AV Focus: Significant experience leading AV-led campaigns across TV, BVOD, online video and broader brand-building activity, with a strong understanding of the role AV plays in driving awareness, consideration and commercial outcomes.
• Creative Development: Proven ability to develop bold, distinctive and effective creative campaigns with leading agencies and senior stakeholders. Experience delivering emotionally engaging, AV-led creative work that resonates with mass audiences and drives measurable business results.
• Media, Innovation & Future Thinking: Deep understanding of both established and emerging media channels, with a passion for progressive marketing and innovation. Experience identifying opportunities to leverage new technologies, consumer behaviours and media trends to create more effective campaigns and drive marketing transformation.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Skilled at navigating complex plans across diverse teams within a matrix organisation, bringing clarity, energy, and solutions to keep delivery on track.
• Change & Influence: Demonstrated experience championing new ways of working, influencing stakeholders and embedding innovative marketing approaches within complex organisations.
• Controls & Governance: Experienced in managing significant budgets and ensuring compliance with FCA and Group risk frameworks, maintaining the highest standards of governance and control.
