Digital Transformation Business Partner – R&D (f/m/d)

About the Role 
As the Digital Transformation Business Partner – R&D, you support the digital transformation of our R&D organization. You translate business needs into digital solutions, optimize processes end-to-end, and support the adoption of innovative technologies such as AI, automation, LIMS/ELN, PLM enhancements, and simulation tools. You act as a strategic partner, process optimizer, and change agent across R&D and its interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Align R&D digital initiatives with strategic priorities.
• Identify opportunities to digitalize and streamline R&D processes.
• Manage digital transformation projects from planning to delivery (scope, time, budget).
• Ensure a key user approach for relevant R&D applications is established, including UAT coordination and first-level support.
• Ensure effective communication, stakeholder alignment, and change adoption.
• Support Data Governance (integrity, traceability, access control, audit readiness).
• Promote compliance, quality, safety, and CSR guidelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar.
• Experience in digital transformation, process optimization, IT project management, and functional analysis.
• Strong understanding of R&D processes and SAP R&D modules.
• Project management expertise (agile certifications preferred).
• Knowledge of change management methodologies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; structured working style.
• Fluent in English + Italian or German.

In accordance with EU Directive 2023/970 on pay transparency, the starting salary for this position is € 49.715 gross per year. Depending on your qualifications, professional experience, skills, and the scope of responsibilities you bring to the role, the final compensation package may be adjusted accordingly.
