    Job description

    Forrest T. Jones & Company, Inc., and its affiliates (“FTJ”), provide insurance and insurance related services to clients, corporations, employers and individuals. These services include providing benefits through innovative life and health insurance plans, financial services, and customized insurance products for niche markets. 

    Position Summary

    The Audit Coordinator works closely with internal auditors and insurance carriers on behalf of Fidelity Security Life Insurance Company. In addition, this position will be required to work with various insurance companies that contract with Forrest T. Jones & Company for insurance administrative services. This position is responsible for supporting the end-to-end audit process by gathering and reviewing required documentation, coordinating with internal auditors and insurance carriers and ensuring timely completion of audit requirements. This position serves as a key liaison between internal departments, auditors and external partners, utilizing proactive communication, attention to detail and problem-solving skills to facilitate accurate and efficient audit outcomes. 

    Expectations

    • Manage audit assignments from initiation through completion; coordinate and submit required audit documentation accurately and on time 
    • Maintain ongoing communication with internal auditors, insurance carriers, administration team, and stakeholders 
    • Monitor audit progress and provide timely updates to management and team members 
    • Identify and resolve audit-related issues proactively 
    • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of records submitted for audit review 
    • Support continuous improvement efforts by recommending process enhancements 
    • Demonstrate professionalism and responsiveness when interacting with internal and external partners 
    • Work collaboratively to achieve department goals and successful audit outcomes while performing other related duties as assigned

    Requisites

    • High school diploma or equivalent required associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Experience in auditing, compliance, insurance operation, administration, customer service or related field preferred.
