First homesteaded in 1915, the Ranch has grown into one of the premier guest ranch destinations in the American West, offering a unique blend of authentic hospitality, rich history, thoughtful luxury, and year-round outdoor adventure.

The property features 25 hand-hewn cabins, the renowned Horn & Cantle Restaurant and Saloon, the Ranch Hall, the Outpost, equestrian facilities, Nordic ski trails, event spaces, and expansive access to the surrounding Montana landscape. Whether you're plating made-to-order dishes or keeping our buffet looking exceptional, your attention to detail and pride in your craft help create memorable dining experiences every morning.

What You'll Do

• Prepare breakfast and lunch menu items with consistency, quality, and attention to presentation.
• Set up, maintain, and replenish breakfast and lunch buffets throughout service.
• Complete daily prep work and maintain organized, well-stocked workstations.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, temperatures, and presentation.
• Prepare meals that accommodate dietary restrictions and special requests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
• Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning kitchen stations and equipment.
• Work closely with the culinary and front-of-house teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen culture.

What You'll Bring

• Previous line cook experience in a restaurant, resort, lodge, or hospitality setting.
• Food Handler Certification or the ability to obtain it upon hire.
• Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

• Experience with breakfast, lunch, or buffet service.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Commitment to quality, consistency, and exceptional guest service.
