Applications submitted here are kept on file and reviewed when maintenance vacancies occur that match your skills and experience. About Maintenance Careers at LMHA

Our maintenance team is responsible for keeping LMHA properties safe, sanitary, functional, and well-maintained for residents and staff. Maintenance work includes apartment turnover, grounds keeping, repairs, skilled trade work, and supervisory crew leadership depending on experience level.

Maintenance opportunities generally fall into four categories:

1. Maintenance Worker I – General Labor & Custodial Support (Entry Level)
2. Maintenance Worker II – Semi-Skilled Maintenance
3. Maintenance Worker III – Skilled Trade Work; Highly skilled work in one or more trades: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, welding, roofing, concrete
4. Maintenance Worker IV – Extensive Trade Mastery

Minimum Requirements (All Levels)

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Kentucky Driver’s License
• Ability to perform physical work in various weather conditions
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Must pass a pre-employment medical examination
