LTL Contracting Ltd. is seeking reliable and hardworking Excavator Operators as well as Dozer Operators to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to work on rotation, out of town, with a consistent work routine.
Rotation & Travel Details:
- Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 week off

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate excavators of various sizes and configurations.
- Perform excavation, trenching, ditching, grading, backfilling, and material loading.
- Operate equipment in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and supervisor instructions.
- Perform rough and finish grading as required.
- Safely work around underground utilities, structures, workers, and other equipment.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report any defects, damage, or maintenance requirements.
- Maintain equipment in a clean and safe operating condition.
- Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical issues promptly.
- Assist with equipment maintenance, greasing, cleaning, and basic servicing as required.
- Ensure proper positioning and operation of equipment when working near slopes, trenches, and other hazards.
- Communicate effectively with ground personnel, supervisors, truck drivers, and other equipment operators.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and site-specific requirements.
- Follow all applicable Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate daily records, time sheets, inspection reports, and other documentation as required.
- Work efficiently to meet project schedules and production targets.
- Assist with other construction activities when required.
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating various excavators
- Possess a VALID Class G license
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work well within a team and follow direction
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Ability to travel and work out of town without disruptions
