Account Executive

The Role

As an Account Executive (all genders), you will own your territory and drive new business across the French market, managing the entire sales cycle from first contact to signed contract.

You will build and execute your own pipeline strategy for Lucanet's CFO solution platform, backed by Marketing and Business Development for demand generation and qualified opportunities, and by a dedicated Sales Engineering team for technical depth, while ownership of your territory and results stays with you. We look for people who keep growing, take real ownership, and lift the people around them.

What you'll do

• Identify, develop and close new business opportunities across your French territory through targeted outreach and prospecting.
• Build and own your pipeline strategy, deciding where to focus, how to engage and how to win.
• Run high-impact prospecting activities and shape the GTM moves that drive your pipeline forward.
• Diagnose prospective customers' challenges and design tailored solution concepts that address their business needs.
• Negotiate and structure deals with C-level stakeholders, shaping commercial terms within defined guardrails.
• Manage the full sales cycle end-to-end, from first contact to signed contract, and deliver against your targets.
• Partner with the Sales Engineering team to give customers comprehensive technical guidance throughout the sales process.

What you bring

You have:

• A proven track record in B2B SaaS, software or IT solution sales, ideally in a hunter or new-business role.
• A business-owner mentality: you take initiative, hold yourself accountable and don't wait for direction.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, particularly when engaging C-level decision-makers.
• Fluent French and business-level English.
• Willingness to travel within the region as needed.

It's a plus if you also have:

• Experience in the finance, tax or accounting industry.
• A degree in business administration, finance or an equivalent qualification.
• An established professional network in SaaS, finance or compliance across France.
