Team Lead Account Executives

The Role

As a Team Lead Account Executives (all genders), you own the aggregate commercial performance of a pod of Account Executives, building the conditions, clear targets, deep coaching, disciplined cadence, in which every AE can succeed.

You report into the New Business sales leadership team and act as the senior representative of your pod across Marketing, Business Development, Sales Engineering, Partner Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps, removing blockers and translating regional strategy into execution on the ground. Beyond your Account Executives, you also lead the Account Managers within your team, ensuring consistent people-leadership across both functions. The role rewards resilience, urgency, and curiosity in equal measure: you'll navigate ambiguity, back your team through tough deal cycles, and stay hands-on with the numbers without losing sight of the people behind them. What you'll do

• Own and deliver aggregate performance targets across your Account Executive and Account Manager team, covering new business and renewal/expansion targets.
• Lead a pod of Account Executives and your Account Managers end-to-end, covering hiring, onboarding, reviews, development, and compensation.
• Run weekly 1:1s with each direct report, coaching on deal progression, methodology, and skill development.
• Own and submit an accurate weekly forecast, driving disciplined pipeline hygiene and risk identification across the pod.
• Translate regional strategy into pod-level territory and account plans, reviewing and approving individual territory plans.
• Champion MEDDICC and the Lucanet sales methodology, driving CRM hygiene and deal stage discipline across the team.
• Partner cross-functionally across Marketing, Business Development, Sales Engineering, Partner Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps to unblock execution.
• Build a high-performance, high-trust team culture through team rituals, recognition, and hands-on coaching.

What you bring

You have:

• Consistently ranked as a top-performing Senior Account Executive in B2B SaaS, software, or IT solution sales, owning full-cycle deals from prospecting to close.
• Deep working knowledge of MEDDICC qualification, complex deal orchestration, and value-based negotiation.
• Strong command of forecast methodology and pipeline coverage analysis, translating regional strategy into pod-level territory plans.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales talent, including hiring, performance reviews, and difficult performance conversations.
• Strong understanding of B2B software buying processes, ideally in finance, compliance, or tax domains.

It's a plus if you also have:

• First-line sales management experience in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally scaling teams in PE-backed or high-growth companies.
• Experience selling or leading teams in finance, tax, accounting, or compliance software.
• Familiarity with CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Gong), and practical experience using AI to sharpen forecasting and sales insights.
