Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our boutique retail team. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional in-store discovery experience while educating customers about our curated selection of niche fragrances, candles, home fragrances, and skincare products.

The ideal candidate is personable, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about helping customers explore and discover unique products.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Experience

• Welcome customers into the store and create a warm, engaging environment.
• Provide a fun and friendly discovery experience while educating customers about the niche brands we carry.
• Make thoughtful product recommendations based on customer preferences and interests.
• Maintain strong knowledge of our fragrance, candle, home fragrance, and skincare collections.
• Recommend complementary products to enhance customer experience and increase product awareness.
• Build and cultivate positive, long-term relationships with customers.
• Maintain a professional, sincere, and enthusiastic attitude that reflects the store’s commitment to exceptional service.
• Answer customer phone calls and assist with product inquiries.
• Process customer transactions, including credit cards, Apple Pay, and cash.

Store Operations

• Participate in store opening and closing procedures.
• Restock merchandise and maintain proper product displays.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
• Stay up to date on fragrance industry trends, brands, and product knowledge.
• Be available to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Prepare and send a daily sales report to senior management including sales performance, store traffic, and customer requests.

Administrative & Inventory Support

• Receive and process stock transfers and purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory and adjust as needed.
• Assist with general store maintenance and facilities.
• Provide feedback to management on store operations, policies, and procedures.
• Support stock transfer requests with the Los Angeles location.
• Assist with influencer visits and press appointments.

Compensation

• $25.00 per hour
• Commission opportunities
