Job Purpose
This position is required to aid manufacturing production to ensure production is always on time with good quality, the role will also be managing ecr and ecn implementation as well as problem solving and problem solutions, including part error, design error, continuous improvement ect.Job Context
This role will require mainly office and computer work but will sometimes require hands on work on the shop floor
Job Dimensions
The role is based in Thailand although it may entail travelling abroad to other Lucy sites as appropriate.
Undertake any reasonable hours necessary to carry out the role effectively.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical/Industrial Engineering with minimum 6-7 years’ experience in a production engineering role
Have good managerial capabilities to be able to lead teams on projects
Good command in English, both written and spoken.
Well versed in understanding engineering drawings
Skills with CAD system and drawing management systems
Skills with CRM software
Have fire in him to grow in the organization.

Responsibilities:
1) Process Design Engineering: Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the analysis of information and the specification of the methods and process steps, as well as the plant, machinery, and equipment, required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems.
2) Engineering Solutions Design: Contribute to the development of, and implement feasibility testing of, proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design.
3) Engineering Standards Specification: Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications and the evaluation of the effectiveness of those standards.
4) Engineering Inspections: Carry out inspections under the supervision of senior colleagues to evaluate the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures, and make recommendations to senior colleagues on the remedial works needed to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
5) Testing: Use product specifications to design test procedures and standards.
6) Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.
7) Improvement/Innovation: Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them.
8) Recommendations: Advise managers how to apply a wide variety of existing procedures and precedents.
9) Project Management: Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
10) Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

5) Modify equipment or processes to improve resource or cost efficiency.
6) Analyze operational, production, economic, or other data, using statistical procedures.
7) Oversee or inspect production processes.
8) Analyze, estimate, or report production costs.
9) Develop or conduct quality control tests to ensure consistent production quality.
10) Compile operational data to develop cost or time estimates, schedules, or specifications.
11) Collect and analyze data related to quality or industrial health and safety programs.
12) Prepare layouts of machinery or equipment, using drafting equipment or computer-aided design (CAD) software.
13) Prepare schedules for equipment use or routine maintenance.
14) Prepare reports regarding inventories of raw materials or finished products.
15) Monitor and control inventory.
16) Supervise production workers.
17) Request equipment upgrades or purchases.
18) Design plant or production facility layouts.
19) Create computer applications for manufacturing processes or operations, using computer-aided design (CAD) or computer-assisted manufacturing (CAM) tools.
Educational Requirements: Short-Cycle Tertiary Education
General Experience Requirement: Experience enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others (Over 3 years to 6 years)
Managerial Experience Requirement: Basic experience of coordinating the work of others (4 to 6 months)
