Assist the Unit Supervisors/Managers in overseeing the functioning of the therapeutic milieu where a safe, consistent environment is maintained and assists clients in growing emotionally, socially, physically, educationally, recreationally, and spiritually.
Guide milieu staff to engage residents in trauma-informed, developmentally-appropriate, culturally-sensitive activities and interactions designed to improve behavior, provide support, and promote healthy development so there can be a successful transition to a communitybased setting.
Provide crisis management, coverage on units as needed, and assistance monitoring program activities.
Assume on-call responsibilities during shift and execute the use of appropriate protocol when navigating crisis situations.
As assigned, be certified in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention [TCI] and conduct associated trainings, debriefings, consultations, and oversight of behavior management procedures and practices.
