Role Summary:

To fetch and load pallets onto trailers destined for RDC’s

Key responsibilities & accountabilities as an NDC Depatch Loader will include:

·        Maintenance of standards and procedures.

·        Care and control of equipment.

·        Achievement of daily targets.

·        To comply with all Company health and safety guidelines and procedures.

·        Responsibility for ‘housekeeping’ within the area of responsibility.

·        To ensure customer satisfaction is maintained.

·        To observe Company Policies, Procedures and Standards

·        Must be willing to undertake training in any NDC activity.

·        Must be willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime when requested.

About You:

      Personality/communication:-

·        Demonstrate the Lyreco values at all times.

·        Team orientated.

·        Understanding of all SAP screens relevant to the function.

·        Ability to communicate well.

      Role specific:-

·        Must be physically fit and capable of working at pace

·        Ability to carry out checks to ensure goods on pallets match pallet label

·        Ability to carry out checks to ensure pallets are loaded on correct trailer

·        Ability to optimise trailer space

·        Ability to operate PPT / FLT safely

·        Ability to clear waste and maintain a clean work area

·        Ability to identify waste and inefficient processes
