POSITION TITLE: Health & Safety Specialist

SALARY: $75,000 - $90,000
MacLean Engineering & Marketing Co. Limited is looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator to join our Health and Safety team at our Owen Sound, ON manufacturing facility. We are seeking an ambitious and progressive candidate to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing team that manufactures heavy duty mobile mining vehicles for our customers worldwide.
About the Position: The Health and Safety Specialist works closely with the site leadership, the Specialist has overall responsibility for managing health and safety improvement activities at the site. This role leads the development, implementation, continuous improvement and promotion of strategies, procedures and systems to achieve sustainable health and safety excellence by reducing injuries and illnesses as measured in the core KPI’s. The position also requires the following proficiencies:
