    Job description

    The Client Program Manager serves as the primary point of contact for a strategic global customer, responsible for driving customer success through strong stakeholder management, program leadership, and supply chain expertise. This role leads cross functional initiatives across logistics, product, commercial, and operations teams to ensure alignment on customer priorities, operational performance, and business outcomes.
    The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in supply chain management, experience managing complex customer relationships, and the ability to influence across a global matrix organization. Success in this role requires the ability to navigate diverse stakeholder groups, coordinate resources across regions and functions, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and translate customer priorities into measurable results.
    This position is best suited for a customer focused leader with experience managing strategic accounts, leading cross functional programs, and driving end to end supply chain performance within a complex global environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading cross-functional programs, aligning stakeholders around common objectives, and driving operational and business outcomes across multiple regions and functions.

    Success in this role requires strong stakeholder management skills, business acumen, and the ability to navigate a large matrix organization. The candidate should be comfortable engaging with customer leadership, influencing decision makers, coordinating resources across the Maersk network, and driving alignment across operational, commercial, and product teams.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building trusted customer relationships, driving accountability across diverse stakeholder groups, and delivering measurable business outcomes in complex environments. Experience supporting global supply chains, strategic accounts, and senior customer stakeholders will be critical to success in this role.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Act as the primary point of contact, building trusted relationships and ensuring alignment on strategic priorities

    • Lead cross-functional programs across Maersk, driving execution from strategy to delivery

    • Partner closely with customer stakeholders and internal teams to improve operational performance, service delivery, and customer satisfaction

    • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain performance by driving best practices and implementing continuous improvement initiatives

    • Develop and maintain standardized KPIs to track performance and enable data-driven decision-making

    • Drive speed-to-market improvements through innovative supply chain solutions

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across logistics, product, and operations to enhance service delivery and scalability

    • Anticipate operational challenges and proactively design solutions to improve efficiency, cost, and customer outcomes

    • Conduct regular operational reviews, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning to ensure sustainable performance improvements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

    • 5+ years of operational, logistics, supply chain management, program management, or customer management experience

    • Strong knowledge of supply chain management, transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and logistics operations

    • Preferred: Experience managing strategic customer programs, leading cross-functional initiatives, and driving operational and business outcomes across complex supply chain environments

    • Experience working with international supply chains or origin operations

    • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across internal and external teams

    • Experience managing executive customer stakeholders and supporting customer governance forums

    • Ability to navigate large organizations and mobilize resources across functions and regions to drive customer outcomes

    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and drive results in complex environments

    • Knowledge of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices

    • Strong communication and presentation skills

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); Power BI is a plus

    • Preferred (not required): PMP, CSCP, Six Sigma, or related operational excellence certifications

    Role Details

    Job Type: Full-time

    Location: Charlotte, NC

    Travel: Limited travel required, typically 1 to 3 trips per year, to support customer QBRs, customer visits, and special projects as needed.

    Salary: $95,000 – $120,000*

    *The stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary and may be adjusted based on market conditions, experience, and location. Final compensation will be discussed directly with the selected candidate(s) in compliance with all applicable laws.
