The Export Key Client Specialist is responsible for managing export shipments for key customers, ensuring smooth coordination between customers, transport providers, operations teams, and destination offices. The role focuses on delivering an excellent customer experience while ensuring efficient shipment execution and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end export shipment handling from booking confirmation to cargo departure.
• Process and confirm customer bookings accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate transport planning and ensure timely movement of cargo.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key export customers.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, transport providers, terminals, and operations teams.
• Coordinate with operations teams to resolve export shipment issues, delays, and exceptions.
• Liaise with destination offices to resolve customer disputes, claims, and shipment-related concerns.
• Monitor shipment milestones and proactively provide updates to customers.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and operational data.
• Prepare customer reports, presentations, and operational updates as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in export shipment handling, logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service mindset.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
