Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience supporting Oracle APEX applications, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and user support.
- Good understanding of Oracle Database architecture and application development concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for debugging, data validation, and performance tuning.
- Experience working with Oracle APEX components such as pages, forms, reports, workflows, and APIs.
- Ability to handle application enhancements, minor customizations, and configuration changes.
- Experience with data integration and reporting support within Oracle-based environments.
- Familiar with monitoring tools, incident management, and ITSM processes (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve application and data-related issues.
- Ability to collaborate with L3/technical teams for complex troubleshooting and fixes.
- Understanding of basic security, access control, and user role management in enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of Oracle APEX applications and related database systems, including application support, configuration, and access management.
- Perform regular health checks to ensure optimal application performance, availability, and data integrity.
- Proactively monitor application workflows and data processes to maintain accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Handle incidents and problems related to Oracle APEX applications, ensuring timely resolution in line with SLAs.
- Provide end-user support for issues related to application access, functionality, and reporting.
- Implement application updates, performance tuning, and configuration changes to ensure system efficiency and stability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- 4–6+ years of experience in Oracle application support or Oracle APEX environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience supporting Oracle-based applications and web-based systems.
- Familiarity with Oracle APEX development and support lifecycle is a plus.
- Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
- Strong communication skills and ability to support end users effectively.
