As Sales Manager Germany you strengthen Mammoet’s commercial footprint by turning complex heavy lifting and transport challenges into long‑term client partnerships. You work close to the market, identify opportunities across key sectors, and collaborate with engineering and operations to shape safe, efficient, and technically sound project solutions. With strong commercial drive and technical understanding, you position Mammoet as the partner of choice for demanding projects where our expertise creates real value.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships — Build trust with existing and new clients across relevant sectors.
- Identify and pursue commercial opportunities — Spot projects where Mammoet’s heavy lifting and transport expertise adds value.
- Translate client needs into clear opportunities — Understand project drivers and technical requirements and convert them into commercial solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations — Shape competitive, technically sound proposals with internal teams.
- Manage the full sales process — From early identification to proposal development, negotiations, and handover.
- Travel regularly — Meet clients, visit project sites, attend industry events, and strengthen market presence.
- Monitor market developments — Identify sectors, clients, and projects where Mammoet can create impact.
- Represent Mammoet professionally — Act as a trusted commercial partner in a technical service environment.
- Maintain accurate CRM records — Track interactions, opportunities, forecasts, and proposal status.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Approximately 5+ years of proven commercial experience.
- Experience in a service‑providing technical environment, ideally related to heavy lifting, transport, engineering, construction, energy, or industrial sectors.
- Strong commercial drive with the ability to identify, develop, and convert opportunities.
- Solid understanding of technical project environments.
- Fluency in German & English.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Germany.
- Flexibility to operate across different locations and stakeholder groups.
- Strong relationship‑building skills at both commercial and technical levels.
- A proactive, resilient, and results‑oriented mindset with ownership from first contact to contract award.
