SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
- IT Support Analyst
- Location: Stockton
- Wage: £34,811 to £43,514 Depending on experience
The overall responsibility is the daily support and maintenance of our existing IT services and infrastructure, together with the implementation of improvements delivered in line with service management standards. This to be done in combination with providing 1st and 2nd line support to all users and offices; being a point of contact regarding queries; ensuring that query registration and solutions are fully documented.
Reporting to the IT Team Leader in the Netherlands, this is a full-time, permanent position to be based at our Teesside office. Regular travel to other UK sites will be required. You will also be required on occasion, to travel to the Netherlands for training and team meetings.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Provide support, service, and solutions to internal customers according to service level agreements.
- Provide 1st level & 2nd level end-user support cascaded by the IT Service Desk
- Support in troubleshooting of hardware, printer/print server, MS Windows, Standard Microsoft Software, Outlook Client, network (WLAN, LAN, network equipment), and other in-house application issues
- Engage with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, and prioritizing demands to drive Regional and Global IT projects or initiatives.
- Set up of company mobile phones and tablets.
- Inventory control.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Microsoft Certified IT Professional with strong experience of Windows 11 environment
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate — MD-102, not essential but desirable.
- Experience in supporting Business Applications, Microsoft Office Suite, Networking, Activate Directory Domain, Windows OS
- Previous Servicedesk experience is essential.
- Cyber security essentials.
- Proven experience of PC hardware set-up and configuration (HP desktop and laptop) is essential.
- Team player and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Service-minded and good problem-solving skills.
- Full, valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK and to the Netherlands.
