Logistic/ Harbor Worker

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

• Logistics/ harbor employee at our yard in Schiedam
• €15 - €22 gross per hour (depending on experience)
• Location: Schiedam

Do you enjoy working with heavy equipment and are you enthusiastic about transport and logistics? Then you should join our yard in Schiedam!

Mammoet is the market leader in heavy transport and lifting services. Our large cranes and trailers need somewhere to be stored and maintained. This is done at our large yard in Schiedam. For this, we need colleagues who ensure that all crane parts and other equipment are in the right place. Are you looking for a dynamic job with opportunities to further develop your skills in logistics? Then this is the job for you!

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Order picking, collecting, loading, and unloading equipment such as cranes, trailers, and lifting equipment.
• Inspect said equipment upon return.
• Operate machinery such as forklifts, terminal trucks, and terminal cranes.
• Give instructions and communicate via radio.
• Comply with safety standards and address others as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Recently graduated from school or do you already have a few years of experience? With us, you'll learn the tricks of the trade and have the opportunity to develop yourself.

• A basic level of understanding and speaking Dutch (B1) is a plus.

• You're flexible and a real team player.

• You're safety-conscious.

• A valid driver's license is preferred.

• A valid VCA diploma is preferred.

• A forklift certificate or ABVL (securing loads) is a plus

A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is part of the application process.

WHAT YOU’LL GET

This gives you a real glimpse into our site and the chance to meet your future colleagues.
