    Job description

    SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

    • SHERPA Deployment Support
    • Location: various

SHERPA is here to modernize and bring greater efficiency to the organization and greater enjoyment to the daily work of all Mammoet employees. SHERPA is a 3-year long journey that has been led by Mammoet Employees for Mammoet Employees. We are in the final stages of the Delivery of the SHERPA Programme before we are set to commence Deployment to all Mammoet entities. This is where you come into the picture. For the Deployment of the Programme we are looking for Mammoet employees able and willing to participate in the roll-out of SHERPA. You will be part of a Deployment Support Team of 22 colleagues from all regions.

The Deployment of SHERPA will happen in waves across the various Mammoet locations. A typical assignment means that you will work in an overseas deployment location for 4 weeks, followed by working 4 weeks from your home country, after which the cycle repeats. In any given year, there are two periods of two months during which there will be no deployment activities overseas and during which you will prepare future deployments and enjoy your vacation. Your Line Manager will remain your Line Manager throughout your assignment but your rostering (for waves) and daily tasks during Deployment will be provided by the Deployment Team Lead (as your acting 'functional manager'). Additionally, your current position and grade will be maintained - however, for the duration of your SHERPA assignment, your job title will be SHERPA Deployment Support.

If you have an understanding of one of the below workstreams, then we are looking for you!

    • Acting as a guardian angel to local colleagues in the week(s) prior to Go-Live of SHERPA and for one month following the Go-Live of SHERPA.
    • Facilitating support via Teams learning sessions, live demonstrations, and in-person classroom knowledge transfer sessions for End Users.

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED

    • 2-3 years of broad relevant work experience within Mammoet (if you have less, please speak with your HR representative still to voice your interest).
    • Ability to build, manage and maintain relationships within Mammoet.
