As Team Lead Engineering, you will lead a team of engineers while overseeing the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions that support project success and operational excellence.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Lead, coach and develop a team of engineers.
- Plan and allocate engineering resources across multiple projects.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables, including calculations, lift plans, drawings and risk assessments.
- Provide technical guidance and support for complex heavy lifting and transport solutions.
- Collaborate with Operations, Sales and Project Management to deliver safe and effective project outcomes.
- Monitor engineering quality, compliance, performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage departmental reporting, budgets and resource utilization.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Professional level experience in engineering operation practices and systems, HLT equipment, internal codes and standards\
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 8-12 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably within heavy lifting, construction, offshore, oil & gas, mining or related industries.
- Previous experience leading or supervising engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of engineering calculations, risk assessments and international engineering standards.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and people leadership skills.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
