Main Responsibilities:
As a Quality and Environmental Engineer, you will report to the site’s QHSE Manager and play a key role in managing the site’s quality and environmental performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and managing the site’s environmental compliance: emissions, discharges, waste, water use, and natural resource management;
- Supporting the implementation and compliance of the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001);
- Conducting internal Quality and Environmental audits and assisting in the preparation of external audits;
- Implementing continuous improvement action plans (impact reduction, circular economy, environmental risk management);
- Raising awareness and training teams on environmental best practices;
- Collaborating with production, maintenance, and HSE teams to embed quality and environmental concerns into operations;
- Monitoring quality and environmental performance indicators, preparing reports, and recommending corrective actions;
- Contributing to certification processes and regulatory compliance monitoring.
