Manitowoc County is hiring Corrections Officer to join their team!

These positions work a 2-2-3 schedule and work approximately 15 days per month, working every other weekend.

Start a career that truly makes a difference in your community.  Manitowoc County is seeking dedicated, professional, and compassionate Corrections Officers to help maintain the safety and security of our jail facility while ensuring the care and custody of inmates.

Responsibilities Include:
• Processing inmates into the facility
• Evaluating inmate needs, medical concerns, and housing placement
• Monitoring cell blocks and maintaining facility security
• Conducting searches and responding to inmate concerns
• Serving meals and distributing medications
• Processing inmates with Huber privileges in and out of the facility
• Verifying paperwork, schedules, and inmate conditions upon return
