To further strengthen JBT Marel’s Poultry service organization, we are looking forward to meet you as our new Technical Support Specialist.
In this role you provide technical support and expertise to customers, our regional Technical Support teams and Field Service teams. You will be the reference for all technical/technological questions in your field of expertise. You will build and maintain relations/connections with specialists and in- and external stakeholders.

You will ensure that cases are handled in a timely manner and are able to fulfil and manage our customer’s expectations. You ensure a clear and accurate exchange of technical information between commercial and technical departments.

What you’ll be doing:

• Solve cases online/remotely and/or decide on follow-up actions in a timely manner, according to the escalation process.
• Advice and inform internal stakeholders on technical solutions and case status.
• Ensure that field service engineers’ debriefings are processed, and Customer Support is informed on follow up actions.
• Update and/or register machine information in Installed Base Management system.
• Identify technical improvements which can be used for potential commercial opportunities.
• Is responsible for creating and maintaining service documentation (Service Info, Service Letter and Service Notice).
• Monitor, evaluate and coordinate reported technical feedback and identify structural issues from reported technical feedback.
• Be the central point for supporting the knowledge build up in the regions and the industry/product group.

What kind of a person are you?

• Educational background in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical- or Software engineering or matching working experience
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong technical background on high-level food processing equipment and Control Systems required.
• Proactive with analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience in field service or technical support is preferred.
