Marie Curie charity shops play a vital role in raising funds to support our nurses and the care they provide to people living with a terminal illness and their families.
We’re looking for enthusiastic Shop Volunteers to join our retail team and help deliver a great shopping experience. From fashion and homeware to books and unique finds, our shops offer a wide range of quality donated items, and we need your help to sort, prepare, and sell them.
Availability: 3 hours per week - Monday, Thursday, Friday or weekends
Time: Shifts available weekdays between 9:30am - 5pm and Sundays 10am - 5pm
Location: 75 The High Street, Bedford, MK40 1NE
Criteria: Aged 16 or over. No previous experience required.
What you'll do:
- Sort donations and uncover hidden gems
- Prep items - steam, tag, and style for sale
- Chat with customers and operate the till
- Spruce up window displays and restock shelves
- Keep things clean, tidy, and fabulous

- Ask a parent our Guardian to complete and sign our Parent/Guardian Consent Form and
- Upload the completed form when you submit your volunteer application - where prompted
