Job Description Summary:

Transport patients, visitors, staff, mail and supplies via the shuttle bus or van for Marin General Hospital.

Job Requirements, Prerequisites and Essential Functions:

EDUCATION
High School Graduate or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
One year as driver of a van or bus used as a transport vehicle
LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONS
Calif Drivers Class C (CALC) Required at hire
Basic Life Support Required within 90 days of hire
Integrative Agitation Management (IAM) Required within 30 days of hire
PREREQUISITE SKILLS
1. Current good DMV driver’s record as evidenced by recent printout
2. Sensitivity and responsiveness to needs of elderly and disturbed individuals
3. Ability to communicate pertinent observations regarding Senior Partial Care (SPC) patients to staff of Senior Partial Care Program
4. Ability to demonstrate good customer relations. Proven tact and diplomacy
5. Ability to render age specific security services

Compensation:

The posted pay range complies with applicable law and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Individual pay is set by skills, experience, qualifications, and internal/market equity, consistent with MarinHealth’s compensation philosophy. Positions covered by collective bargaining agreements are governed by those agreements.
