Corporate Food Integrity Manager

The Corporate Food Integrity Manager is Mars' global subject matter expert for Food Fraud Prevention, Food Defense, and Foreign Material Management. This role provides technical leadership, risk management expertise, and strategic guidance across Mars segments to strengthen food safety systems, drive enterprise capability, and ensure alignment with GFSI-recognized certification requirements and internal standards. The role leads horizon scanning activities to identify emerging risks, scientific developments, and industry trends, helping Mars remain at the forefront of food integrity and food safety excellence.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in food safety, quality, product development, process engineering, or related technical fields.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP/HARPC, FSSC 22000, and GFSI-recognized certification schemes.
• Experience in horizon scanning, risk management, or continuous improvement programs.
• Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and lead through complex global stakeholder networks.
• Lead Auditor Certification preferred.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Lead Mars' global Food Integrity programs, including Food Fraud Prevention, Food Defense, and Foreign Material Management.
• Provide expert guidance and risk assessment support to strengthen food safety, compliance, and risk management across segments.
• Lead horizon scanning activities to identify emerging risks, scientific developments, and industry trends, translating insights into practical business solutions.
• Build organizational capability through project leadership, Communities of Practice, training, mentoring, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
