Job Description:
As we work to transform and optimize Mars, a new program has been mobilized by the Mars leadership team. The program is focused on the design and implementation of SAP S/4Hana, Salesforce and other enterprise packages in Mars across Segments (Petcare, Corporate, Snacking & Food). Much more than a simple “Lift and Shift,” this program will undertake a major process simplification and harmonization scope as we digitally transform our business.
The program is focused primarily on eight mega process areas: Finance, Source to Pay (procurement and vendor mgmt.), Plan to Fulfill (manufacturing and distribution), Lead to Cash (order processing and payment), Governance, Engage to Consume (marketing), Idea to Market (R&D), and Recruit to Retire (HR). This transformation requires thought leadership, quality decision making, deep technical know-how, and an ability to navigate complex business challenges while applying a holistic and multi-disciplinary approach to each of these mega processes. As part of program, a new role has been created to head the Integration solution architecture workstream, leading a team of integration solution architects tasked to design how best to interface S/4 Hana, Salesforce and similar large enterprise SaaS or packaged solutions with hundreds of global, segment, local edge systems and trading partners in a complex multi-instance, multi-platform landscape. This role is a critical leadership role demanding a balanced blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking; as well as driving a robust scalable and secure hybrid integration platform aligned with global standards.
Key Responsibilities
Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
Lead all integration solution architecture activities across the EOS Landscape and collaborate/work with existing integration enterprise architecture team.
Manage & coordinate a team of solution architects, associates and contractors in charge of the high-level design of interfaces required to allow data exchange between S/4, Salesforce and other new application platforms deployed as part of the program and global, segment, local edge systems and trading partners leveraging Mars Hybrid Integration Platform
Collaborate with the program functional GPOs, COEs and program deployment teams to gather integration requirements, including non-functional ones and sign them off
Collaborate with the Integration delivery and deployment teams to produce the interface high level designs and sign them off.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Integration, Data, Testing and Service Support teams to ensure non functional requirements are met in line with Mars standards.
Provide architecture support during subsequent phases : low level design, build, tests, cutovers, go lives and hyper care periods across multiple instances and regions as required.
Produce and maintain integration high level design documentation
Knowledge / Experience
10+ years of integration architecture experience in a complex cloud based, multi-application, multi trading partners eco-system
Preferred exposure to SAP BTP IS, Solace and Azure IS, the key components of Mars Hybrid integration platform
Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms and hybrid infrastructure models.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Have team player attitude and hunger to develop new professional skills combined with proactive, development-minded, and goal-focused attitude to work
Excellent documentation, visualization and presentation skills
Have experience working with System Integrator and Business Integrator, 3rd parties
