Global Business Workstream Lead – AI Sourcing & Digital Automation
Location: Flexible, with a preference for proximity to a major hub

The Global Business Workstream Lead is accountable for defining, delivering, and embedding strategic business capabilities within the Commercial Agility 2.0 transformation programme. The role is responsible for ensuring programme objectives are translated into fit-for-purpose associate utilization, sustainable business outcomes, operating model improvements, and measurable value delivery.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of global workstreams, shaping strategy, managing priorities, and ensuring successful execution against programme objectives.
- Own the business vision and roadmap for AI sourcing and automation capabilities, defining future ways of working that simplify processes and enhance commercial effectiveness.
- Partner with digital, data and regional teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical delivery.
- Act as the key business decision-maker for your workstreams, managing risks, dependencies and stakeholder alignment to drive successful outcomes.
- Champion adoption of new capabilities, working closely with change and regional teams to embed sustainable ways of working and maximise user engagement.
- Measure and deliver business value by tracking adoption, efficiency gains and performance outcomes, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
What are we looking for?
- Experience leading business transformation, operational improvement, procurement excellence, or strategic initiatives.
- Source-to-Pay experience (Strategy > Tender > Negotiate > Allocation > Contract)
- Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional programmes, workstreams, or major business initiatives.
- Strong understanding of business process improvement, operating model design, and organisational change.
- Experience working across business, digital, data, and technology-enabled environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and decision-making skills.
- Experience driving adoption and implementation of business change within complex organisations.
Preferred
- Experience within procurement, supply chain, shared services, or operational transformation environments.
- Experience with data, analytics, automation, AI-enabled capabilities, or digital transformation initiatives from a business perspective (no technical coding or AI/ML model-building expertise required; the focus is on business translation and partnership with digital teams).
- Experience operating within large global and matrixed organisations.
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide transformation programmes.
