Position Title: Mars Pet Nutrition Transformations PMO
Location: PAD (Mars Paddington, London)

This Program Management Office (PMO) role is a vital enabler for our most important business transformations. The roles act as a driver for the implementations, optimises the management of the programs, are in the details of how it’s operating and are the essential link between governance and execution. All information, communication, monitoring, and activity tracking are managed by the PMO on behalf of the Program Manager. To succeed and ensure seamless orchestration, the PMO will work proactively with the working team and key stakeholders at all levels in the program.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Develop an integrated view of the overall program in coordination with initiative leads
- Responsible for day-to-day execution support from a program management POV
- Ensure monitoring and tracking of roadmap and KPIs
- Risk and issue identification and tracking, escalate to the SRO when critical
- Financial planning and benefit / cost monitoring, in partnership with S&F
- Resourcing planning due to capacity / capability challenges
- Information management, quality assurance and change control
- Ensure alignment with strategic leaders from identified interdependencies and with Initiative Leads and PMOs in other PN Strategic Initiatives
- Work in partnership with the program's Change Manager, Communications Lead and other core program team roles to build and deliver a unified, consistent approach to operating the program
- Increase business change effectiveness by promoting best practice program and project management and agile ways of working
- Coordinate experts across the org and link them to the initiative leads as appropriate
- Ensure that the Project/Program is being managed in accordance with the Mars Business Change Frameworks
- Bring Insights back to the SRO Team
Knowledge/Experience Required:
- Hands-on project and programme management experience in global transformations across multiple functions.
- Experience working in high performance team environment
- Experience with global cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Essential: Certified at Practitioner level in either PMP or MSP
- Desired : Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant area (e.g. Business Management)
- Desired: Other Business Change professional certifications such as MoP, PRINCE2,Agile PRINCE2, Prosci Practitioner or similar
