Financial Analyst

Description:

Martin Marietta is looking for a Financial Analyst to analyze, develop, and provide automated solutions impacting financial controllership in our Kansas City Region.

Responsibilities:

• Works with division leadership on a daily basis to provide financial analysis and accounting activities
• Analyses data, identifies trends, determines findings, and provides recommendations
• Works with senior level analysts and managers in financial controllership to monitors financial activities and transactions, assessing them for compliance, and reports any anomalies
• Train budget holders on proper forecasting techniques and our forecasting/reporting systems
• Educate budget holders on understanding the Pandamp;L and how operational KPIs impact the Pandamp;L and Working Capital
• Proactively identify gaps in business processes or knowledge and work to close them
• Perform variance analysis to identify errors and opportunities
• Perform data analysis to support business decisions
• Ad hoc work as designated by the Finance Manager/Supervisor and Regional VP

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of related experience
