Role: ▪ Clutch and clutch release system design, development and evaluate for automobiles
Responsibilities: ▪ Designing & development of automotive transmission clutch and release system ▪ Vehicle layout of clutch, clutch cables & pipes, and other clutch release system components (both manual and hydraulic) ▪ Clutch part level evaluation ▪ Vehicle level clutch performance and NVH tuning ▪ Analysis of market problem/ failure related to clutch & clutch release system including detrimental effects on vehicle performance. 5
Competency Requirements Technical/ Functional: ▪ Proficient in CAD and Drafting - preferably Uni-graphics ▪ Proficient in designer CAE ▪ Knowledge of Project management system / Engg. BOM system ▪ Knowledge of Clutch & Release system specification design based on vehicle requirements ▪ Knowledge of clutch NVH filtration & interpretation of NVH data ▪ Knowledge of clutch parameters affecting vehicle level performance ▪ Working knowledge of other damping solutions like Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF), Hybrid dampers. ▪ Working knowledge of Wet clutches for Hybrid applications ▪ Thorough understanding of DFMEA/Root cause analysis and other designing/analysis tools. ▪ Thorough understanding of manual transmission sub-systemsgearbox, gear shift mechanism, synchromesh system, clutch cable, gear shift lever assembly for holistic Clutch & release system spec design ▪ Working knowledge of Engine system to understand requirements for Clutch spec design Job description Template Référence : ERDTM/EN-52C/AM-DM/
