Job Title: Die Parts Development Engineer

Job Location: Gujarat / Kharkhoda / Manesar / Gurgaon

Required Qualification: Diploma in Tool & Die / Mechanical Engineering

Required Experience: 3.9 – 9 Years

Job Responsibilities:

·        Development and inspection of die parts from suppliers, as per engineering drawings and specifications.

·        Study drawings, specifications, and manufacturing process requirements to ensure manufacturability.

·        Coordinate with design and manufacturing teams to finalize die part specifications.

·        Release RFQs, estimate costs as per process and negotiate with suppliers

·        Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for die parts manufacturing.

·        Conduct supplier audits and performance ratings.

·        Coordinate with suppliers for manufacturing plans, schedules, and capacity alignment.

·        Track part development milestones and ensure on‑time delivery.

·        Support supplier technical upgradation, capability development and localization initiatives.

Competencies/Skills:

·        Basic knowledge in Press die, Injection molds, and Die casting dies manufacturing processes.

·        Experience and Skills in cost estimation and negotiation.

·        Knowledge of manufacturing process, inspection process and quality requirements.

·        Skills in Design and drawing reading & Knowledge GD&T, Fits and Tolerances.

·        Knowledge of die materials and heat treatment

·        Knowledge in defects analysis and countermeasures

·        Good analytical skills

·        Very good problem-solving skills

·        Basic knowledge of CNC milling and fitting activities.

·        Basic knowledge of design software - UG NX.

·        Effective verbal and written communication skill.
