REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, material science, engineering, or relevant field; two years of specialized lab experience (which may include experience gained as an undergraduate); willingness to work with animals, including performing injections and collecting animal bio samples; experience working with and maintaining technical instruments/equipment; comfort summarizing and reporting results to researchers; commitment to exceeding quality standards; strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and communication skills; practiced documentation skills; ability to follow safety procedures; willingness to learn new tools and techniques and work independently and as part of a team; and plan, organize, and coordinate work assignment/experiments simultaneously. PREFERRED: Relevant experience with micro molding techniques, lipid nanoparticle synthesis, and/or microneedle fabrication; and experience with characterizing drug delivery materials, biological assays, and working with animals; and experience with any of the following topics including drug delivery, controlled release, biomaterials, chemistry, protein stability, molecular biology, immunology, and/or virology.
A two-year commitment is strongly preferred.
