FACILITIES SUPERVISOR
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate the Preventative Maintenance Programme and Corrective Maintenance for MDGI, Ruimveldt and Massy Stores as it pertains to the following specific areas:
- Responsible for coordinating Maintenance for the General Buildings.
- Responsible for coordinating Maintenance for the General equipment:
- Racking System
- Lift trucks
- Shutter doors
- Portable pallet jacks
- Motorized pallets jacks
- General maintenance of the warehouse
- Responsible for coordinating Maintenance for Air condition and refrigeration units.
- Coordinate the activities of Contractors for Massy Stores Locations.
- Responsible for coordinating Maintenance for Compound Maintenance for all Massy Distribution and Massy Stores Locations.
- Responsible for coordinating Maintenance for Electrical Equipment.
- Responsible for coordinating Maintenance for Pest control and extermination.
- Networking & Coordinating on Facilities matters with respective agencies/organizations. For example: GWI/GPL Payments –D1& D4, NDC Rates & Taxes including D1 & D2, etc.
- Managing Access Control to the Building.
- Coordinating the cleaning of Restricted Rooms (Electrical Rooms, Pump Rooms, Air Handler Rooms, Server & UPS Rooms, etc.) and Fire Exit Steps as required.
- Manage and Coordinate cleaning of the building’s offices.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A bachelor’s degree from the University of Guyana or any other recognized tertiary institution, or a Diploma with at least two years working experience.
- One year experience in a similar field is preferred.
