- Operate buses safely and efficiently on assigned routes throughout Cincinnati
- Follow established schedules and routes while maintaining punctuality
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transit
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues to maintenance
- Maintain accurate driving logs, passenger counts, and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or emergencies
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus in a professional and courteous manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies
- Respond professionally to passenger inquiries and concerns
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior throughout the day
- Report safety hazards or security concerns to supervisors immediately
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
- Current DOT medical certification
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Passenger safety training certification
- Excellent knowledge of Cincinnati routes and navigation
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and maintain punctuality
- Proficiency in radio communication systems
- Basic vehicle maintenance awareness
- Professional demeanor and reliability
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Multiple years of bus driving experience
- Defensive driving certification
- Experience working with diverse passenger populations
