    Job description

    Summary/Objective

    The Branch Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the office administrative functions, including employee payroll, employment document processing, reporting and auditing, and administrative requirements to comply with all applicable policies, rules, regulations, and laws. The role supports all aspects of branch operations through report management, assignment management, office supply and vendor management, invoice and billing management, and various other tasks.

    Essential Functions

    • Process payroll and manage corrections as necessary.
    • Audit pay and bill reports.
    • Audit employee credential requirements and maintain employee files.
    • Conduct employee orientations.
    • Complete I9s, E-Verify, drug screens, and process background checks.
    • Assist or conduct pre-employment screening and assessments as needed.
    • Schedule interviews as required.
    • Post absenteeism to the Applicant Tracking System.
    • Order and maintain all supplies for the office.
    • Process billing and handle invoicing questions.
    • Maintain all PTO and vacation pay and reports.
    • Maintain attendance reports for certain client locations and send reports to clients.
    • Occasionally perform phone screens for applicants in support of recruiting team.
    • Fill in to cover receptionist duties when required – answering phones and processing applicants.
    • Lead, coordinate, and participate in MAU 5S program, if applicable.
    • Assist employees in understanding and enrolling in insurance benefits.
    • Assist branch staff in ordering office meals and preparing for business meetings.
    • Develop office reports for management.
    • Track pay/bill charges.
    • Request and manage maintenance on branch facilities.
    • Ensure that incoming bills are allocated to appropriate client or division.
    • Ensure that billing source documents are completed for each client for services and supplies provided.
    • Assist in daily administrative tasks to support staffing, recruiting, and account management efforts of the office.

    Required Education and Experience

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Above average computer skills
    • 4 years of professional experience in a professional administrative business role
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
    • 1+ years of experience processing payroll

    Preferred Education and Experience

    • Staffing industry, manufacturing HR, or production supervisor experience a plus
    • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System
    • 4-year degree in Business or related field

    Supervisory Responsibility

    There are no direct supervisory responsibilities. The highest performers will be team players who are well-versed in mentoring.

    Work Environment or Working Conditions

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    Physical Demands

    This position may require the following to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation:

    • Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours
    • Ability to climb stairs
    • Ability to sit for up to 8 hours
