Talent Acquisition Specialist

Summary/Objective

Driven by a customer-centric approach and Lean Six Sigma methodologies, this position maintains an on-site presence and is responsible for supporting recruitment activities, reporting, and daily service delivery commitments for our Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) client.

Essential Functions

• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with customer HR, operations, and business leaders while serving as the secondary support to Talent Acquisition Leader for positions within scope.

• Meet the specific needs of RPO client stakeholders by processing active candidates in client’s ATS, presenting, and placing appropriate candidates for direct hire hourly positions.
• Contribute to the development and consistent execution of best practices in direct hire recruitment.
• Participate in scheduling interviews between client’s stakeholders and candidates as appropriate.
• Prepare customers and candidates for job interviews.
• Follow up with candidates and internal customers after interviews.
• Present job offers to selected candidates.
• Track and prepare reporting on recruiting activity as needed by our clients.

• Participate in daily, weekly and monthly customer talent acquisition meetings as needed.
• Assist with maintenance of recruiting reports and operational metrics.
• Participate in weekly and monthly MAU operational, leadership, and talent acquisition meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

Qualifications include:

• Associate’s degree
• One plus years’ experience in RPO or recruiting in manufacturing
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Must possess strong customer service orientation.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must possess an assertive, outgoing personality.
• Ideal candidate will be focused, thorough, with a strong desire to succeed.
• Strong computer and MS Office skills required.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years’ experience in a RPO or recruiting in manufacturing

Work Environment or Working Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Further, this job may require occasional presence at customer sites, both in administrative and manufacturing environments.  Customer sites sometimes include process manufacturing equipment and heavy power industrial vehicles.
