Summary/Objective We are seeking an experienced Boiler Technician to join our mechanical services team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with high-pressure and low-pressure steam boilers and a strong background in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of boiler systems in commercial and industrial settings.

This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to safety, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Essential Functions

• Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair steam boiler systems (high-pressure and low-pressure).
• Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydronic boilers Perform routine and preventive maintenance on boilers, burners, pumps, valves, controls, and related mechanical systems.
• Diagnose system malfunctions and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct boiler startups, shutdowns, and combustion tuning.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, P&IDs, and technical manuals.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes , including ASME and OSHA standards.
• Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and other trades as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Participate in emergency service calls and on-call rotations as required.
• Work Environment The Boiler Technician works primarily in commercial and industrial facilities, including office buildings, schools, hospitals, government buildings, factories, mechanical rooms, and other active project sites.
• Work may be performed indoors or outdoors and in hot, cold, or unconditioned environments.
• Working in cramped spaces, on rooftops, and during irregular hours may be required.
• Ability to climb ladders to access rooftop equipment will be needed.
• Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling.
• It requires employees to regularly lift and move at least 50 lbs.
• Work will be indoor and outdoor.
• At times, work may be in awkward or cramped/tight spaces and involve handling heavy equipment.
• Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, with typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM hours.
• Overtime and irregular hours are frequent.
• Travel Daily travel to service locations in GA area is required.
