THE DEPARTMENT OF RADIOLOGY AT MAYO CLINIC IN PHOENIX, AZ, IS SEEKING ABDOMINAL RADIOLOGIST

The Abdominal Imaging Division in the Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic Arizona seeks an ABR board-eligible/certified abdominal fellowship-trained radiologist to join our cutting-edge subspecialty-focused growing clinical practice with exciting research and education opportunities.  The ideal candidate is an abdominal radiologist with expertise in MR and CT with additional expertise in GI fluoroscopy and/or Ultrasound.  Highly motivated radiologists at all levels of experience are invited to apply. A strong desire to be engaged in the education of residents and fellows is required and the desire to advance additional academic interests preferred.

Mayo Clinic Arizona has campuses located in Phoenix and Scottsdale, AZ and is consistently ranked No. 1 in the state of Arizona by U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals. The Abdominal Imaging Division is currently composed of 15 radiologists, many who also rotate in the Ultrasound Division. The diagnostic exams performed reflects the large number of liver and kidney transplants performed at Mayo Clinic Arizona, patients with complex medical/surgical histories, oncology patients, and non-trauma patients presenting to the Emergency Department for acute care. In addition, the Ultrasound Division has an active procedural service including transplant organ and targeted lesion biopsies. The Department of Radiology emphasizes high quality patient care and maintains an excellent working relationship with our colleagues in other disciplines. Our practice employs a hybrid work environment with a mixture of onsite and teleradiology (from home within the Phoenix metro area) shifts for all division members to provide flexibility and promote work-life balance.
