    • Providing legal counsel on the governance, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning technologies used across Mayo Clinic’s clinical, research, and business operations, including advising on responsible AI governance frameworks, data and privacy implications, and emerging state, federal, and international AI-related laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Advising on and participating in AI-related transactions and contracting, including providing legal guidance on technology and data transactions in support of Mayo Clinic’s strategic initiatives.
    • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex, highly regulated environments and effectively advise at the intersection of business, technology, compliance, risk, government relations, and legal considerations across multiple jurisdictions.

This position requires a collaborative and approachable leader who will coordinate across the Legal Department to deliver exceptional legal services and clear, concise counsel on complex questions throughout the lifecycle of AI and other technology initiatives.
