    Department of Pediatrics / Mayo Clinic Children’s
    The Manager partners closely with pediatric practice leadership and division chairs to oversee day-to-day operations while advancing departmental and Mayo Clinic Children’s initiatives. This role is responsible for monitoring key performance metrics, including access and financial performance, collaborating with colleagues and leaders across the organization, and leading projects that drive operational excellence. The manager plays a critical role in implementing innovative and automated solutions, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring alignment with Mayo Clinic’s strategic priorities and enterprise goals. Additional responsibilities include resolving operational issues, fostering effective collaboration, and providing supervision and support for allied health staff as appropriate.

    Primary Care
    The Primary Care Manager plays a key role in supporting the health and well-being of the community by overseeing daily clinic operations and ensuring effective care delivery for employees, dependents, and primary care patients. This role partners closely with Primary Care leadership to advance transformation, innovation, and automation initiatives. Success in the position requires strong collaboration across departments, divisions, and multidisciplinary teams, as well as excellent communication skills to support operational excellence and the goals of Bold. Forward. In Rochester.

    Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine
    The Manager provides operational leadership for multiple clinical divisions within the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine on the St. Marys Campus, including Neuro/Radiology, Multispecialty Anesthesia, and Central practice areas, along with supporting the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). The role partners with divisional physician leaders to advance practice goals, enhance patient care, support workforce engagement, and drive strategic and operational initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
    •    Serve as the administrative partner for designated anesthesia clinical divisions and allied health practice areas
    •    Collaborate with physician leaders to develop and implement strategic, operational, quality, and workforce priorities.
    •    Provide leadership for employee engagement, recruitment, retention, and professional development activities.
    •    Foster collaboration across clinical, operational, and administrative teams to promote best practices and achieve organizational goals
    •    Support implementation of departmental priorities and change management efforts across assigned practice areas

    Parking and Transportation
    The Manager for Parking and Transportation plays a critical leadership role in supporting safe, efficient, and welcoming arrivals and departures for patients, visitors, and staff across the Mayo Clinic campus. This position is responsible for overseeing parking and transportation operations and working in close partnership with concierge, valet services, the City of Rochester, Rochester Public Transit, and other key operational teams. Together, these partnerships ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience that reflects Mayo Clinic’s commitment to exceptional service. As Mayo Clinic continues to transform the arrival and departure experience, this role will be instrumental in operationalizing new approaches that incorporate AI and automation. The Manager will lead efforts to improve and integrate processes that create a coordinated, patient-centered experience—from the moment of arrival through departure—while maintaining safety, efficiency, and service excellence.

    The Manager partners with administrative leaders, physicians, and scientists to lead and coordinate operational and administrative functions in alignment with strategic priorities. The Manager has strong leadership, operational and process improvement capabilities.

    • Lead and manage the team to operationalize the vision, executing goals and outcome-based objectives. 
    • Actively contribute to the development of priorities and action plans.
    • Serve as a liaison between front-line supervisors and staff and leadership to ensure strategic alignment, staff engagement, and open, transparent, bidirectional communication.
    • Develop relationships externally in support of Mayo Clinic’s goals and objectives.

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience OR
    • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience required. 
    • Operational experience must include demonstrated competency in leadership, management, operations, finance, communication, and change management methodologies.
